Born and raised in Nicholasville, Kentucky, Dr. Thompson attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She then returned home to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. It was there she met her husband, Dr. Sam Thompson, who is now an orthodontist in Owensboro. His hometown roots are what led them to settle in this wonderful community they now call home.
Dr. Thompson loves serving the people of Owensboro and the surrounding areas—not just by caring for their smiles, but by getting to know her patients personally and building lasting relationships. She’s passionate about the blend of engineering and artistry that dentistry offers, with a special love for smile design through veneers and crowns. Helping patients achieve their dream smiles and watching their confidence shine is what she finds most rewarding.
On her days off, you can usually find Dr. Thompson out on the golf course, spending time with her family, or watching (and quoting) her favorite movies.
